Why One to One Coaching?
It’s hard to get out of your reality when you’re trapped in it 24/7. You are where you are. You know what you know. New information arrives in familiar patterns. You can stagnate.
If you’re trying to change something major or hit an audacious goal and no amount of ‘hussle’ or ‘willpower’ is getting you there, you should try breaking the pattern. Breaking the pattern is hard. That’s what personal coaching is for. As your personal coach I am an objective 3rd party, with years of experience training people to perform at their best, joining you from outside your 24/7, here to help you succeed.
How we do it.
Over a series of coaching sessions, we’ll meet one-to-one, online or in person, and collaborate. My aim is for you to achieve your ultimate goals. The overall number of sessions will vary depending on your vision and budget, but the structure looks like this:

In our first session, we establish a ‘baseline’. I get to know you, your goals and your challenges. And I’ll set some homework: Completing a DISC personality profile. I’ll use the profile to build a deeper understanding about you, your preferences, your strengths and challenges. With this information, we establish our starting point and your objective.

In our next session, I’ll feed back your assessment and get a temperature check. What do you think? Is it accurate? Are there nuances? Do you completely disagree! Armed with this self-awareness, we’ll re-assess your goals, your current reality, and the paths and options available to reach your goals.

We reach your goal: After this, we’ll have a plan for moving you forward. I’ll introduce practical tools and techniques you can use to solve your specific challenges, drawn from my experience as a professional Coach and Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner to high performing professionals.
Our goal is to equip you with cognitive tools that work, and that you will have the confidence to use to break your current patterns and move yourself in a new direction.
When to use One to One Coaching
This approach is designed to help you achieve specific goals by making improvements to your fundamental human performance via the gradual introduction of more effective cognitive tools, mental models and habits. It has a wide range of applications:

Solving interpersonal conflict. If you’re struggling at work with specific people, processes or teams, we work on self-awareness and communication skills. We get to the bottom of the issue from your perspective. Understand how to communicate that clearly with others, and solve longstanding issues with well delivered, objective information.

Settling into a new role. If you’ve been given new responsibilities but you don’t feel ready (maybe you feel “imposter syndrome” 😱), we work on your mental model, self-talk and self-perception to get you comfortable in your new role. We also arm you with tactics for dealing with managing teams (if this is needed) borrowed from our experience teaching high performance team dynamics.

Going for a promotion. Perhaps you’re ready to move on to a new role, or your management thinks you are, but you’re not confident. If you really want to step outside your comfort zone, but you aren’t sure how, we can help. We work on the skills you need to feel confident with more responsibility (or asking for more responsibility), if that’s what you need.

Running the world. If you’re a senior executive or CEO, but you still feel like you have a lot to figure out, we’re here for you too. We introduce proven methods for coping with stress and uncertainty, used by professionals in the most extreme environments, and with the stuff business school can’t teach: the dynamics of managing and leading teams in the real world.

Keeping and growing your people. If you’re a manager or an HR professional and you have people who are ready for a change, get in touch. Coaching is a powerful way to help you keep your most talented people or support them to promotions or changes in responsibility.
